Anti-Islam sentiment across Europe seems to be gathering fresh momentum.

A deadly attack on the offices of the satirical French magazine Charlie Hebdo only heightens the fears that many Europeans have when it comes to Islam
It follows angry protests in Dresden, Germany against what protesters see as a growing Islamisation of their country.
They are not the first, though. Similar protests were held in a number of cities across the European continent.
But why is the fear from Islam in Europe? And who is fuelling Islamophabia there?
